Red chard and mixed fruit smoothie

Today's smoothie was a gamble that totally paid off.

Start with:
2 cups water
1 bunch red chard ( blended until to the 5 cup line)
1/2 cucumber (blend again)

10 dried plums (soaked overnight)
2 bananas
1 16 oz bag frozen mixed fruit

Blended until smooth.  Add more water if necessary Taste and add zero calorie sweetener (stevia is best) if needed.

This one was surprisingly delicious! If you have a slow digestive tract, this is a good one to help move things along. :)

Makes 2 one quart servings

  1. i started drinking smoothies a week ago. My skin improved after 2 days! Everyone should drink them, I feel like a have more energie than ever.
